Preschool Programs
The programs are designed to integrate young children into a school setting and to prepare them with the necessary tools to succeed in kindergarten.  Developmentally appropriate learning activities focus on spiritual, social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development.  The teacher and aide work to provide positive experiences at this level.  The students are taught to interact with one another and are introduced to topics that will help them make a smooth transition to kindergarten.

Students will be admitted to the 3-year old or 4-year old program if they are 3 or 4 years old, respectively, by September 1st.  Parents wishing to register their child(ren) for preschool are required to present a birth certificate, immunization records and a registration fee at the time of registration.  Please contact the school office for registration forms.

Objectives:  fine motor skills development (tearing, cutting, coloring, drawing, tracing, writing, and glueing)  Pre-reader skills: alaphabet recognition, upper and lower case letter formation, beginning sounds.  Pre- reader skills: alphabet recognition, upper and lower case letter formation, beginning sounds.  Pre-math skills: number recognition and formation.  Sequencing, patterning, matching, sorting and classifying.  Printing first name in upper and lower case letters.. 

New families are encouraged to visit and tour the school so that they may completely view and discuss their questions and concerns with the Principal.  Dates and times for visitation can be obtained from the school office.
