Welcome!
My name is Mrs. Lichius and I am inviting you to “Leap into Fourth Grade.” Here we will “Leap Into:”
Our first “lily pad” takes
us into weekly Liturgy. We will pray
often throughout the day, learn about and study the Ten Commandments, and
integrate the Beatitudes to help strengthen our Catholic identity. All of these, in addition to our Catholic
values, are blended into all areas of the curriculum to help build our faith
formation.
Using the MacMillan/McGraw Hill Math; Math Series, we “leap into” multiplication, division, fractions, decimals, and probability. Using charts, graphs, equations, and function tables we solve problems that occur as part of our everyday lives.
The next “lily pad” on our journey we investigate life, earth, physical, and health sciences. Using the Scott Foresman series this is an activity based program that utilizes our science lab. Leap in and enjoy learning using this hands-on approach.
