2007-2008 Tuition

Student tuition is dependent upon registration within St. Bernadette Parish or those who have signed the home parish verification form.  If a family is not registered in the parish upon enrollment in the school, non-parishioner tuition rates will apply.  If a family registers in the parish after the school year begins, non-parishioner rates continue for the remainder of that school year.  This does not apply to families moving into the area and registering in the parish upon moving.  Payment of tuition may be made either by 10 monthly payments (July through April) or full payment by September 1st.  If full payment is paid by September 1st the amount owed is $50 less than the amounts listed.

    1st child (K-8) $2450 (10 pmts of $245 - July through April)
    2nd child (K-8) $1650 (10 pmts of $410 - July through April)
    3rd child (K-8) $1400 (10 pmts of $550 - July through April)
    4th child (K-8) $1000 (10 pmts of $650 - July through April)

A Pastor Verification Form is
necessary for the above scale if not a parishioner of St. Bernadette
Church..

    1st child (K-8) $3500 (10 pmts of $350 - July through April)
    2nd child (K-8) $3200 (10 pmts of $670 - July through April)
 
Each family will be assessed a
$470 FUNDRAISING FEE which may be paid by participating in the gift certificate program.
$50 will be deducted from the fundraising fee for any family working the Parish Festival in June

    3 Yr. Preschool $ 850 (10 pmts of $85 - July through April)
    4 Yr. Preschool $ 950 (10 pmts of $95 - July through April)

PRESCHOOL STUDENTS WHOSE FAMILY QUALIFIES FOR FINANCIAL AID PAY NOTHING FOR TUITION.  HOWEVER, THE FAMILY MUST PAY THE
FUNDRAISING FEE.

Any family with a child
only in preschool or 1/2 day Kindergarten will be assessed a $300 FUNDRAISING FEE which may be paid by participating in the gift certificate program.

A non-refundable commitment fee of $100 per family will be charged in January during the registration process for the new school year.  This fee will be applied against the 2007-2008 tuition billing.

Lack of finances need not be an obstacle to enrollment in St. Bernadette School.  The Bishop’s Education Fund, Scholastic Opportunity Scholarship (SOS), and St. Bernadette Parish have monies available for educational grants to those families with demonstrated need.  Information and the necessary forms are available in the school office. Please call to request one.

Recipients of financial assistance from St. Bernadette will be required to make timely payments for their portion of the tuition.  In return for tuition assistance, volunteer service will be expected from the parents receiving assistance according to the amount of aid received.

* If tuition is paid in full before school begins, deduct $50 from your total amount due.

* All families will receive a contract in June with the first tuition invoice.  Please fill it out in full, sign the contract and return it with your first tuition payment due by July 10.

* A child, whose family has not made their first 2 tuition payments (July & August) by the start of the school year, will not be admitted to the school.

* Tuition credit is available for families participating in Market Day at 4.5% of family total purchases.

TUITION ASSISTANCE IS AVAILABLE FOR ALL ELIGIBLE STUDENTS IN GRADES Preschool-8.   FORMS WILL BE AVAILABLE IN FEBRUARY AND MAY BE REQUESTED FROM THE SCHOOL OFFICE.
