The purpose of a Pre-Kindergarten Enrichment Program is threefold:  first, to further improve the continuity of academic progress offered at St. Bernadette School; second, to provide a formal early childhood religious education; and third, to offer the community a service.

Purpose – The program will meet the needs of children who have                 completed a 4-year-preschool program, but are not quite ready to enter a full-day kindergarten program.

Philosophy – St. Bernadette Pre-K Enrichment Program imparts Gospel values by creating an atmosphere that encourages religious, social, physical and emotional development in early childhood.

Curriculum- The core of the program includes activities in Catholic religious education activities to develop positive self-image, self-expression, socialization, motor coordination and perceptual skills. This program will build on the academic base begun in 4-year preschool with continued emphasis on pre-reading, writing, and math skills.

Tuition- The cost of the program is one half the cost of kindergarten
tuition.

Session – 12:30 p.m. to 3:00 p.m., Monday thru Friday.
